By Parameshwara’s grace and Kanchi Acharyal’s anugraham, Vedic and Cultural Centre of Australia (VCCA) organized Sri Ekadasha Rudra Japam at Shri Shiv Mandir, Minto (NSW), Australia on 19th November 2017.
Sydney Shiva devotees have been fortunate to witness such an event for 10 years in a row at the temple premises. On this occasion, 45 Rithviks participated and chanted Sri Rudram and Chamaka Anuvaakaas. More than 300 devotees witnessed the chanting event which was followed by Sri Rudra Homam and Abhishekam for Lord Shiva.
With the blessings from His Holiness Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Kanchipuram and kind permission from the Shiv Mandir Management Committee, VCCA organized this event under the able guidance of Shri Venkatrama Sastry, Shri Ramachandra Athreyar and temple priests Shri Arul Sivam, Shri Lal Bahadur Mishra and Shri Chetan Bhai Patel.
VCCA would like to acknowledge the support given by the Shiv Mandir Management Committee, who have made this event as a regular annual calendar event. On behalf of the Mandir Management Committee, Shri Ganesha Lingam proposed a vote of thanks to all attendees. On behalf of VCCA, Shri Ramarathinam expressed his words of appreciation to the Mandir Management Committee, Shri Venkatrama Sastry, Shri Ramachandra Athreyar, the temple priests. all the Rithviks and devotees who participated at the event. Prasadam were distributed to all the sponsors and devotees at the end. This was followed by Annadaanam for all devotees
